Meet the team behind Cures for kids

Our tireless group of talented and interdisciplinary individuals are working to turn the spotlight on fighting life-threatening illness and to raise research funds to improve the quality of life for children with them.

Our Founder

Perri Tutelman

Perri Tutelman was named one of Canada’s Top 20 under Twenty 2010 for her efforts as an accomplished scientist and philanthropist. Since the age of 14, Perri has been a contributing researcher at the B.C. Cancer Research Centre, and has developed a novel combination treatment for cancer. Her work was recognized nationally when she placed first at the 2009 Canada-Wide Science Fair. Perri’s knowledge of illness and disease extends far beyond the laboratory. At the age of 15, Perri combined her passions of laboratory research and pediatric clinical care to found the “Cures for Kids Foundation”.
